Career - Assistant Restaurant Manager

Purpose of Role:


Responsible for recruitment, training, management of staff; reviewing staff performance and contribution; enforcement of policy and SOPs



Responsibilities:

  • Achieve restaurant operational objectives by contribution of strategic planning and reviews; preparation and completion of action plans; implementation of production schedule; maintaining quality and top notch customer service standards; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change for the better of the restaurant
  • Meet restaurant financial objective with accurate forecasting; preparation of annual budget; managing expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective measures
  • Be part of the planning and implementation of food and beverage menu with Head Chef; estimate cost and profit, control wastage and ensure consistency of high quality in hygiene for food preparation
  • Conform to regulations of alcoholic beverages commission



Skills and Experience:

  • People-person with good people management experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Self motivated
  • Excellent in communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Relevant F&B experience is an added advantage
