May 30, Mathilda is born!

Our dear baby Mathilda is born today! We are so thankful for a healthy baby and a smooth delivery. Ted is very excited to have a little sister to play with. We prepped him for a bit about the new bundle of joy. So far he likes her very much. Let’s hope that continues!

As for Mama Ted, it’s the dreadful confinement period again. It literally means confined at home for a month (except visits to doctors). Did you know Asian Chinese sometimes believe that you’re not to wash your hair for a month to prevent “wind” from getting into your body? Mama Ted is certainly washing her hair!
