This will be a round-up of key highlights and learning from 2017! It was such a great year. We hope you enjoy the walk down memory lane and may it reinforce your decision to follow Tedboy on this journey towards wholesome food and family first. For the entrepreneurs out there, may you get inspired by our foolishness to embark on this F&B journey or get freaked out and remain at your desk job :)

Families with kids aged 4 to 6 years old, got to enjoy the cooking and baking sessions with Tedboy Bakery’s team of chefs and kitchen helpers in making sandwiches, decorating cookies and rolling their own sushi from scratch. Besides that, the kids also got to take part in assembling a large Malaysia flag by decorating cookies with coloured icing sugar, in conjunction with Malaysia Day.

Recently we had our very first TedboyCooks Open Day on 21st May 2017 at our Tedboy Bakery in The School Jaya One outlet. The respond and sign-ups were overwhelming with interested parents and excited kids, who couldn’t wait to participate in our series of cooking and baking classes!

Recently we have been flooded with enquiries and requests to use our venue as a private event space, to the point we are *almost* unable to keep up with our monthly posting for our blogs. We have been happy to be hosting birthday parties (both adults and children) within our outlets as well as on-site catering for corporate events and meetings.

Continuing on their success since July 2012, Tedboy Bakery officially launched their second café-restaurant branch today. This will be founders Edward Tan and Patrina Tang’s first bakery branch in Selangor, choosing The School, Jaya One in Petaling Jaya as their location.

As for Ted the boy, this year is his first Halloween party experience. It was conducted in a cosy residential area and everyone was all dressed up for the occasion (except Ted). The amount of effort put into decorating houses and gardens was amazing!

This year, founders Edward and Patrina organised a small Tedboy family get-together for Buka Puasa at one of our newly established Tedboy Express at Jalan Sultan Ismail. Tedboy staffs and colleagues from the office, outlet crew, bakers and chefs all gathered together to break fast, with both family and friends. Most of us brought our family together to enjoy the buffet spread and get to know each other.

It is becoming Tedboy Bakery’s little tradition to have a yearly Easter Egg Surprise, and over the years, we have watched returning parents with their ever expanding brood of children. It is so nice to see their families grow!
